Manukau Junior Neighbourhood Support Newsletter 2008Rosetta Reti Simanu, Manukau City Council 22 Dec 2008 I would like to congratulate the four schools - Weymouth Primary, Clendon Park, Dawson Primary and Flatbush Primary, for finalising their nominations and for organising assemblies for the awards presentation. We are aware that it is a very busy time of year, and we appreciate the effort you have all put in to make 2008 a success for the JNS program. For the rest of the schools, we look forward to your participation in the new year. We also acknowledge the assistance and the support of the school principals, as well as the generosity of our awesome sponsors - Skycity Cinemas, Manukau Beautification Charitable Trust, Fire Services, CYFS, AARTA, Civil Defence, Police and Manukau City Council. A special thank you to our Deputy Mayor Gary Troup, Area Commander Allan Shearer, Senior Sergeant Neil Fisher, Sergeant Stephen Bass, Sergeant Michael Wharepouri, Fireman George, Graham Bakker and Constable Dave Taukamo for turning up at schools assemblies to present the awards. Your presence made the presentation special and more meaningful, thank you. Finally, we would like to thank all the coordinators for their enthusiasm and hard work.
