Working relationship established with LocatingusTM
July 2004

Neighbourhood Support is pleased to announce it has established a working relationship with Locatingus, a new service rolling out around the country over the coming months. Neighbourhood Support benefits through funding from each sale says Yvonne Palmer, Neighbourhood Support's National Development Co-ordinator.

The service supplements the Contact List that neighbourhood support members maintain for each household in their group. The Locatingus service holds the home, mobile and work numbers of the owner of a house or business plus the phone numbers of their four closest trusted contacts (family, friends, work colleagues etc.).

In the event of an emergency service needing to contact the owners of a house or business and seeing the Locatingus label on a letterbox, window or door, the emergency service will call its communications centre. The communications centre operator will contact LocatingusTM whose operators will take down the message and pass it on to the owner using the Locatingus profile the owner provided when registering for the service.

Customers can register their home or business for the service for only $20. There is a nominal $10 annual management fee to maintain the member's profile with Locatingus.

More information about Locatingus can be found under Products or to download a Customer Registration form visit www.locatingus.com Yvonne Palmer says Locatingus will assist emergency services to locate people and provide peace of mind to people who are away from home knowing they can be located in an emergency wherever they are in the world.
