Today, Neighbourhood Support Taupo Coordinator Joy Johnson got a welcome surprise at work when Classic Hits 96.7 Lakeland FM’s breakfast host, Brendon Weatherley, turned up with a huge selection of goodies from NESCAFÉ.

Neighbourhood Support have been working with NESCAFÉ, who, together with Classic Hits on this occasion are running a nationwide "TogetherNES" campaign - encouraging neighbours to get to know each other. Ten NESCAFÉ coffee mornings being given away throughout New Zealand each along with $250 cash - to help community groups and neighbourhoods set up their "TogetherNES" campaign, which could expand to a community project.

Joy plans to share her NESCAFÉ coffee morning with a local Neighbourhood Support group and will use the cash prize to hold public meetings in halls in Acacia Bay and Richmond Heights for mothers and the elderly.

Brendon said Classic Hits couldn’t have picked a better winner but encourages others to enter their neighbourhood groups as the campaign runs until next Friday and there is a major cash prize of $30,000 up for grabs.
